- 4 slices of bread
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract optional
- ¼ tsp cinnamon optional
- Pinch of salt
- Butter or oil for frying
- Maple syrup or powdered sugar for serving optional
- In a shallow dish, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon and salt.
